There's a Hole in the Ceiling and it's about to Rain
Our biggest project is about to be underwater...literally. A tropical storm is rolling in and we’ve got a hole in the ceiling. If water leaks through, it could delay one of the biggest steps in this renovation—leveling and pouring the new concrete floors in the kitchen.
In this video, we head over to the site to check out the damage and talk through the plan to seal the hole before the rain hits. Then we walk through the house to show you the latest construction progress—including new walls, structural updates, and a few surprises.
Later, Sophie shows up, and she's worried about a different hole. She swears it’s going to leak. Soc says it won’t. So naturally… we make a bet.
We’re a husband and wife team renovating historic homes here in Mazatlán, Mexico, and bringing new life to old architecture. Think: tropical design, concrete floors, custom ironwork, and lots of chaos and beauty along the way.
