We Finally Level the Floors on this Crooked House

The rainstorm hit hard, and now it’s time to see if the ceiling held up—or if we’ve got a leak that could delay everything. We made a bet about it, and someone’s about to find out they were wrong.

If water got in, we can’t start leveling the floors. But if it didn’t? It’s go time.

In this episode, we check the damage, talk next steps, and finally begin pouring concrete to level out the old, uneven floors of this Mazatlán home. You’ll see how we’re transforming this space panel by panel, with timelapse shots of the floor leveling process and updates on where we’re headed next in this major home renovation project.

We’re Sophie and Soc, and we renovate houses here in Mazatlán, Mexico—bringing them back to life one room at a time. If you love old homes, satisfying renovation progress, and a little construction chaos, you’re in the right place.
