35 aGAVE rANCH

We began our adventure in Mazatlan in 2019 when we purchased land and started cultivating it to plant over 30,000 blue agave hijuelos, also known as agave tequilana. We hope, when the harvest season is upon us, we can learn to use the coa de jima tool and cut the leaves off a blue agave. It’d be nice to be a jimador for a day! Check out some photos of our journey from prepping the land, to receiving the hijuelos, to planting them and tilling the land to clear the weeds.
