35 Agave: 4 Years Later
It’s been four and a half years since we took the leap to migrate to Mexico back in January 2019. It was freezing in NYC at that time and we couldn’t wait to walk along the beach, eat ceviche, wear shorts and live in a slower paced environment.
When we decided to upend everything we knew in NYC to take a huge risk in our careers and life to explore a new adventure together we never anticipated the challenges but also the growth we would face along the way.
We officially began 35 Agave in April 2019 when we purchased a property, started gut renovating it and eventually selling it in June 2020.
Next, we dove into two houses at the same time in August 2020 which proved to be really challenging considering we were constantly moving workers from one house to the other — depending on the iteration the houses were each going through. We successfully sold those two houses during the Under Construction phase but finally closed on one in November 2021 upon completion and the next one in March 2022.
March 2022 was also when we welcomed baby Socrates into the world and acquired two more properties and immediately began working on those two properties by April 2022.
2022 was also the first time we decided to dive into the world of working with a client — all of the previous five houses were each owned by us. Developing and constructing a client’s property proved to be something different and equally exciting for us. We enjoyed brainstorming and coming up with design ideas with our client until we found the ideal solution for them.
After a successful client based project, we are now ready to start offering our Comprehensive Design + Construction Services to YOU. Our Design Services can include anything from architectural plans to design renders that can help you visualize the potential of your existing space.
